Liz Roache

Liz Roache believes that color possesses the remarkable ability to elevate spirits and transform emotions. Whether working on large installations or delicate pieces, they treat color as a vital companion that inspires optimism and celebrates life's beauty. With over 30 years of experience, Liz had the privilege of studying and teaching alongside Ati Gropius, the daughter of Bauhaus founder Walter Gropius and a direct student of Josef Albers. Under Ati's mentorship, she gained invaluable insights into color and design, collaborating at prestigious institutions like The Museum of Modern Art, where the artist also designed products. After Ati’s passing, she was honored to be named her successor, carrying forward her legacy in both their art and design collection and their teachings to corporations. Through her work, Liz continues to embody the transformative power of color, reminding others of the joy and beauty that it can bring to life.
