John Kirby

President and Owner

John Kirby founded Boston Art, Inc. on September 1, 2001, to provide art acquisition and management services to clients in the Corporate, Healthcare and Hospitality industries. John has over 25 years of experience as an art consultant assisting companies of all sizes in finding appropriate art solutions. Since the inception of Boston Art, the company has expanded its scope to provide art programs for clients in many fields and for residential projects throughout New England and the tri-state area. Over the last ten years, John has trained and cultivated an experienced staff of art consultants and master framers who are dedicated to helping clients create extraordinary spaces through the addition of well-chosen artwork. John attended Boston College, started his first art consulting firm out of a one-bedroom apartment, and now lives in the Boston area with his wife and three children. Kelly Filocco

Senior Art Consultant

Kelly Filocco has been with Boston Art since 2002. She is a graduate of Northeastern University, with a degree in business and a concentration in marketing. She has been painting from a young age and feels her inspiration came from her creative mom who is a jewelry designer and her grandmother who was an interior designer. She loves rowing (women’s 8) but with a young daughter, Sophia, in the mix, rowing has been on the back burner. Kelly grew up in Norwell and now lives in Braintree with her husband Marty who is from Queensland, Australia. He is a fine furniture maker. Their dog Cooper is also Australian. Kate Anderson

Art Consultant

Kate has been a member of Boston Art’s team since March 2004. From 2004-2007 Kate held the position of Gallery Director where her primary responsibility was researching and recruiting both emerging and established artists of exceptional talent for representation at Boston Art. From September 2007 to the present Kate has served Boston Art as an Art Consultant. Kate graduated from Colby-Sawyer College in 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art with a focus in painting. Kate is a self-proclaimed foodie and enjoys cooking, eating and traveling. In her free time Kate likes to snowboard, listen to music and spend time on the beach with her family. Charlotte Riggs

Art Consultant

Charlotte Riggs joined the Boston Art team after graduating from Trinity College with an honors degree in Art History and Asian Studies. An avid art lover from a young age, Charlotte brings a lot of energy and creativity to her projects. As an Art Consultant, she has worked with numerous corporate, healthcare and institutional clients and also specializes in working with interior designers and individuals to find artwork and framing for their residential spaces. She enjoys helping her clients form collections that reflect and augment the personality of a given space, company or individual while also representing the best available pieces at a price which they can afford. She has studied in London, Tibet and Cambodia and enjoys skiing, tennis, and cooking. Joe O'Brien

Installation Specialist

Joe O'Brien has eight years of art installation experience, and has been with Boston Art since 2005. He has also worked as a screenprinter and a musician. He studied philosophy and painting at Boston College. Email Joe at joseph.obrien@bostonartinc.com.

Colleen Dunning

Business Manager

Colleen joined Boston Art after returning to Boston from New York City, where she gained experience in radio, publishing and fine art auctions. She is also the author of an upcoming book, Listen! The First 70 Years of WKCR. As business manager, Colleen is responsible for handling the background aspects of Boston Art, including accounts, operations and HR. Rachel Downes

Arts Administrator

After working with diverse museum collections in Saratoga Springs, Stockbridge, and Washington, DC, Rachel returned to her roots in Boston. As a graduate of Skidmore College, Rachel expanded her knowledge of museum practice and fine art history while pursuing her avid interest in music on the side.
